Shurhold the Best Boat / Car Polish and Detailing Products...

... began as a small, one-man operation based out of the garage shown below in Port St. Lucie, Florida. It was started on July 1, 1973 by William E. Peach, who self-admittedly had no knowledge about the design or manufacturing of Boat Detailing Products.

Bill started with the idea to build the Best Quality Marine Products.  After the humble beginnings in his garage he then moved the company to a 1,000-square-foot space in the B & A Industrial Park in Stuart, Florida in August 1974.  Here Shurhold started to get a cult like following.  Customers raved about the quality and versatility of the detailing products.  Feedback from customers would confirm that Shurhold was not only perfect for your boat but also the Best Car Care Products.  Shurhold continued to grow and moved twice more until the current 10,000-square-foot facility became Shurhold’s permanent base in 1994.

Shurhold officially expands into Car Care & Wax Products

Shurhold was then bought by Barry Berhoff in 1993 and has since transformed into the international company it is today.  Under this new leadership Shurhold has expanded their offerings beyond boat cleaning products.  Shurhold now produces Auto Detailing, Rv Detailing and Motorcycle Detailing products as well.  The team at Shurhold has developed many new items including the Best Car Polish and Best Boat Polish.  This new polymer based polish is a modern day replacement for Car Wax or Boat Wax.

Shurhold prides itself on not only producing the Best Detailing Products but also providing helpful information like: Boat Care Tips and Car Care Tips.
