A company that started with a single cleaning brush in a small, home-town garage is now celebrating 30 years of originality. Family-owned Shurhold Industries now operates in a 10,000-square foot facility, making innovative specialty care and accessory products while maintaining the high standard of quality established over the years.
The Telescoping Handle with Soft Bristle Brush that features the exclusive Shur-Lok release system was Shurhold’s first product. Today, the “One Handle Does It All” design is the company’s core line. It includes brushes, mops, squeegees, swivel pads, scrubbers, boating and fishing accessories, adapters and extensions that all fit together with the Shur-Lok system. The Shurhold staff has grown to 15 knowledgeable, caring employees.
New this anniversary-year is the expansion of the company’s hand-held tools, the Encyclopedia of Boating Tips DVD and Ship or Shore sun and skincare products. “We sell in over 20 different countries and continue to expand our extensive line to supply boaters and RVers with innovative products,” said Barry Berhoff, Shurhold’s president.
