Safety should always be your number one concern while on the water. There are plenty of opportunities to get hurt or harm others on the water and it’s your responsibility to help prevent accidents. On this edition of Clean-N-Simple Tips, we demonstrate a simple technique that can save your fingers when tying a loop to a cleat.
When pulling the line through the cleat, the handler must be prepared for a sudden surge from the boat. Your fingers never have a chance to be trapped when using the technique.
Always take the time to survey any situation and look for potential safety hazards. Until next time, Shurhold is here to help keep your boat Clean-N-Simple!
