Siren Marine Product Review

Nobody wants to think about boat theft, but it is an unfortunate part of the world we live in today. As thieves get more sophisticated, so do the systems we use to deter and guard against them. One such system is Siren Marine's comprehensive boat monitoring system. But is it worth the cost? To answer that question, Shurhold was given the opportunity to install the system on our Albury Brothers Project Boat. After a year and a half of use, here's what we learned. 

First, the system has required no troubleshooting or maintenance whatsoever. As long as the settings are correct, the application has functioned as intended. It's great to know that you don't have to worry about the system failing when you need it most. 

Beyond the ability to monitor your boat's location, the app also gives you access to other important data. Information like battery health can be viewed at the touch of a button. If the bilge is running nostop (signifying rising water in the boat), a text can be sent out to alert the owner or captain. Peace of mind is easy when you know, beyond a doubt, that your boat is safe and sound.
