Buff Magic has been formulated to be user-friendly whether buffing by machine or hand. It is also an ideal metal cleaner and polisher for steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, gold and other precious metals. Buff Magic is an NMMA Innovation Award Winner.

HAND Application: apply sparingly with a clean microfiber towel over the oxidized surface. Hand buff in a circular motion until residue appears. Then remove residue by buffing with a soft dry microfiber cloth. Repeat for severe oxidation.

The amount of Buff Magic will greatly depend on the level of oxidation, the size of the boat, RV, project, etc. Here are some general guidelines to help you out:

Boats

Under 35 ft one 22 oz jar

35-60 ft one 64 oz jar

60+ft one 10 lb pail or more

RVs

Pop-ups and campers one 22 oz jar

Coaches and Buses one 64 oz jar

Auto & Home

One 22 oz jar should handle most of these projects

Don't forget all the areas Buff Magic can improve so buying a little extra will go a long way:

Fiberglass Boats, RVs, etc...

Cars

Stainless Steel Parts, Grill Covers, etc...

Glass Windows and Windshields

Must Have Product

We bought the Buff Magic on the recommendation of a professional decal business to bring the shine back to our 24 year old boat that had seen salt water for the last 20 years.
We could not have been more surprised or happier on how well this product removed oxidation and brought a shine to the boat better than we could have hoped for. We were so pleased we bought another.

Pro 1 Boat Detailing

I have had to switch back to Buff Magic after using another product A.B. 2000 and 1000 for over 25 years. I was pleasantly surprised that the formula in Buff Magic has changed. Used to only work on lightly oxidized gel coats felt more like polish than compound. Now I wish I would have given Buff Magic another chance sooner. If you know how to run a high speed buffer with either wool or yellow compounding foam pads. You will definitely become the talked about detailer on your docks and marinas. Hand use will work for hard to get places such as under cleats and hand rails. For metal again with a machine will polish stainless to a mirror finish. By hand not so much but does a great job. I am a professional boat detailer and I highly recommend this product.

Works

Product works good for me. Used it to remove some water spots on my truck grill using buff magic by hand, it worked great. Also used it on my Harley to polish the paint before waxing, what a shiny slick finish!

shiney

Had to work with it on the metal surfaces, but eventually got the shine I wanted

I was expecting a product with more cutting power. I'm using the dual action polisher with this product. It struggles to remove marks and certainly any scratching is a problem for the product. I'll keep working with it to see if there's anything I can do differently, but it seems like I need to be able to apply more pressure with a stronger machine.
