Christmas present

My son wanted this polisher so he is getting it as a Christmas present. He was very specific about the model he wanted.

Dual action polishe

I recently purchased the dual action polisher and it worked great. I had faded black gel coat and I was able to bring it back to life. I have never attempted buffing before on auto or boat. I have one problem. I hate the on off switch. I kept accidentally turning the machine off. I often held the buffer with one hand.

Best DA polisher

Highly recommended. Great product and gets the job done from gel coat to non skid.

Great purchase so far!

The buffer/polisher works great! I have a 2006 32' Monterey that is in great shape but I was having trouble finding someone to buff and wax it. I am half way through the project and I am very impressed. I have used a rotary for many years but it is too big for this job. This polisher is the perfect size and the boat is coming up beautifully!

Non-Skid Solution

The Shurhold Dual Action Polisher came as advertised. Packaged well. Several tracking notifications which was very nice. Our "new" old boat is a 2003 Nordic Tug 42. She has about an acre of non-skid surface which I was working through with a hand brush when I saw the Shurhold video. Purchased a stiff brush, and a soft brush, for the polisher and applied buff magic compound and Pro-Polish wax as instructed. So far I have waxed just the cockpit and the swim step but the areas I have done look awesome and I am very satisfied with both the effort required and the results. Note that the stupid black specs in your non-skid will not buff out (even with the stiff brush)They will not come off with Acetone, or brake clean, or be affected by Goof Off, or pretty much any caustic product you might try. They are black mold (no really) and require bleach. Clorox in a spray bottle will work. They usually need to soak, and a stiff hand brush works best. Once your deck is clean of mold and major stains, the Shurhold Buff Magic Compound, and Pro Polish Wax, apply a great shine, and protective finish which looks almost like new and is not slick to walk on. Great products.
