A Spot Free Sink is Easy with Shurhold!

We've got another great tip for our 30 Projects in 30 Days series!

As many of us know, stainless steel hardware can be far from stainless. Our sinks are one such example. All the hard water, food waste, and soap scum will leave any sink looking faded, and may even turn slightly brown from a light dusting of rust. Fortunately, we have a solution!

You'll need some Buff Magic and a few Microfiber Towels. When working inside the home, like on a sink, it's best to work by hand to avoid splattering the compound everywhere. Our Buff Magic works as a metal polish, so you'll treat stainless steel in the same way you would compound any other surface. Simply apply the compound and work it into the surface using tight, circular motions with moderate pressure.

You'll notice a black slurry starting to form in areas you've polished. This is the oxidized metal getting trapped in the Buff Magic solution after it's been removed from the surface. The black material can cause stains easily, so protect your work area and yourself. After you've polished the metal, clean the area using your standard dish soap and a sponge of your choice. After rinsing the suds away, finish by drying the sink using one of our Microfiber Towels for a spot free finish. All done!

Until next time, Shurhold is here to help keep your home Clean-N-Simple!
